Our Future Is In Our Hands
Part 1; Demanding Better From Our Leaders
The only thing we have in life for sure is a future because once we stop having a future then we aren't alive anymore we are dead. Ladies and gentelmen we need to demand more from our leaders and ourselves if we are to have a future. Thirty five years ago we faced an energy crisis as a result of the mid-east war. Progressive voices said we should develop renewables and break our growing dependence on foreign oil. Instead we stuck our heads in the sand, ignored the future and in the process made the corrupt backwards country of Saidi Arabia who funds most of the terrorism the wealthiest on the planet. There is a better tomorrow for us all if we can take the path of change that is open to us. That path of change starts with America becoming the world leader in renewable energy resources. That one change would go a long way to solving three of our most pressing problems; security, environmental and financial. Another change we can all make is to change our lives. Become less consumer oreinted and entertainment obsessed. Culitvate the simple pleasures and create your own entertainment. It's not enough to believe in your future you've got to define it and be active in making it happen.
We need to face the future and stop living in fear. The most important thing is to become educated and then get involved. When Barak Obama was running for president one of the things he stessed was that change couldn't come from him alone. It was up to Americans to become involved in thier government again. The worst thing that could happen right now is for people to give up in cyniscism and say "well nothings changed" We need to be the ones that make a differnence and in that spirit we offer the following plan
Contract For Americans
The American Recovery Act of 2010
Stop Waging Wars Out Of Fear
Start Waging PeaceThroughCourage

Single Payer Health Insurance
